This is at the junction of the Appalachian Trail and the trail out of Cosby campground to the Mt. Cammerer fire tower, early in April. This is at over 4,000 feet in elevation. The bed of trout lillies covered acres and was interspered with other wonderful wildflowers, making an incredible carpet of color.
