This is a white lined sphinx or hawk moth - commonly referred to as "hummingbird moths." It was sipping nectar from surprise lillies in our front yard. It's wings are so fast, that this is as good a photo as I could extract from video that we took. But I think it is a cool photo - like an apparition.
